Single-Cell Seminar

Want more from those single-cell NGS experiments with low cell throughput, insufficient data quality, or limited readout? Share a new story with the Shasta™ Single-Cell System, which lets you uncover more high-quality genomic and transcriptomic information from many more single cells than previous technologies.
This event is being hosted by the Genomics Core. For more information, reach out to the core's lab manager, Minhee Lim at limm3@ccf.org.
Register for our seminar to learn about these revolutionary applications:
See how full-length RNA-seq can give you the power to detect biomarkers for your translational research. Register below for a discussion on biomarker discovery paired with beverages and refreshements!
Talks:
- The power of sensitivity and coverage at scale
- Dissecting single-cell transcription bursting dynamics with the ICELL8 SMART-Seq Pro platform

Bill Warble
Senior Business Development Manager, Takara Bio USA, Inc.
Bill Warble began his lab career at the University of Pittsburgh before obtaining a master's degree in molecular biochemistry and biophysics from Yale University. He returned to the Pittsburgh area and began his commercial career, where he has focused on the genomics market for 15+ years. In his current role, he focuses on platforms to increase throughput for researchers and clinicians.

Le Xiong, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Dr. Le Xiong is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Infection Biology at the Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which extrachromosomal circular DNA (ecDNA) contributes to tumorigenesis and cancer pathogenesis, utilizing cutting-edge genomics, imaging, and computational biology approaches. Dr. Xiong completed his PhD in the Department of Molecular Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Germany, where he investigated the role of the pioneer transcription factor Oct4 in regulating chromatin accessibility, enhancer activity, and gene transcription in embryonic stem cells.
