- 50% acetonitrile; retains 90% activity after 1 hr at 95°C, pH 7.0
Definition of activity
One unit of activity corresponds to the amount of enzyme required to hydrolyze 1 mmol of N-succinyl Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide in 1 minute at 95°C and pH 7.0.
