PrimeScript FAST RT Reagent Kit with gDNA Eraser
PrimeScript FAST RT Reagent Kit with gDNA Eraser is a real-time RT-PCR kit that includes gDNA Eraser for elimination of genomic DNA (gDNA). Residual gDNA in the template RNA is eliminated by treatment at 42℃ for 2 min with gDNA Eraser, which has potent DNA degradation activity. The subsequent reverse transcription reaction includes a component that completely inhibits DNA degradation activity, and reverse transcription is complete in just 10 min.. The kit comes with two premixes, one for genome elimination reagent and the other for reverse-transcription, and the simple protocol allows the reaction to proceed from genome elimination to cDNA synthesis without sample loss.
This product is a reverse transcription kit specifically for real-time RT-PCR that includes a genomic DNA (gDNA) removal reaction by treatment using gDNA Eraser, which has strong DNA decomposition activity, and then a reverse transcription reaction reagent containing a component that completely suppresses DNA decomposition activity is added. Since the genome removal reagent and reverse transcription reaction reagent are premixed in advance, reactions from genome removal to cDNA synthesis can proceed without loss by simply adding the reagents one after another to the RNA sample.
cDNA obtained with this product can be used in real-time PCR assays performed by either the intercalator method or the probe-detection method. We suggest using the kit in combination with quantitative PCR reagents such as TB Green®Premix Ex Taq™ II Fast qPCR (Cat. # RR830S/A/B), TB GreenPremix Ex Taq II (Tli RNaseH Plus) (Cat. # RR820S/A/B), TB GreenPremix Ex Taq (Tli RNaseH Plus) (Cat. # RR420S/A/B), Probe qPCR Mix (Cat. # RR391A/B), or Probe qPCR Mix, with UNG (Cat. # RR392A/B), depending on the purpose
