Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor, GPR
Takara Bio's Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor, GPR is a registered general purpose reagent (GPR) appropriate for use in general laboratory applications, including molecular diagnostic development and testing. It is a recombinant protein that acts as a noncompetitive RNase inhibitor of RNases A, B, and C. This RNase inhibitor is active over a wide pH range and in at least 1 mM DTT.

Unit definition
One unit is defined as the amount of Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor, GPR required to inhibit the activity of 5 ng of RNase A by 50%. Activity is determined as the ability to inhibit hydrolysis of cytidine 2,3'-cyclic monophosphate (cyclic CMP) by RNAse A.
