5 steps for outsourcing the development of your stem cell-based disease model

Human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-based models provide scalable, relevant systems for studying disease mechanisms, identifying potential druggable targets, and developing new drugs to treat disease. However, establishing a new hiPSC-based model is challenging, especially if you don't have the time or in-house expertise required for efficient generation of hiPSC lines, culturing hiPSCs, or differentiation of hiPSCs to your desired cell type.

We offer custom services for sourcing, reprogramming, cell banking, and directed differentiation to definitive endoderm (DE) cells, beta cells, or hepatocytes. For more information, fill in the stem cell services form below to indicate which service or combination of services you are interested in.

Discuss your project requirements with our expert team

After you fill in the form, our business development manager and services committee will be in touch shortly to discuss your needs, including any additional QC testing, deliverables, or special requests.

Review the price quote

Once you work out the details of your project with our team, we will send you a price quote that includes project lead time and deliverables. After you review the quote and send us your PO and your cells (see Step 4), we can get started on your project.

Send us your cells

• If you have documentation that proves your cells are sterile and pathogen-free, you will need to send us three vials of these cells with relevant information regarding culturing and freezing protocols.
• If you do not have documentation that proves your cells are sterile and pathogen-free, we can provide testing via a third-party service. This will incur additional lead time and costs, and you will need to send two additional vials (for a total of five vials).
• If you do not have your own cells, we can work with you to source the right cells, reprogram them to iPS cells.
