NucleoSpin Plasmid EasyPure is a high-speed and high-yield miniprep kit that combines the highest plasmid yield with a very fast procedure. The NucleoSpin Plasmid EasyPure columns supplied in the kit provide a binding capacity of 35 µg plasmid DNA and allow reliable yields, even from higher culture volumes. Rapid purification is achieved by using a combined washing and drying step, which allows 6 minipreps to be completed within 14 min.

This simple procedure starts with alkaline lysis of a bacterial culture. The blue LyseControl indicator reagent premixed in the Lysis Buffer allows you to easily visualize completion of neutralization and alkaline lysis. The lysate is then cleared by centrifugation and the supernatant is loaded onto a NucleoSpin Plasmid EasyPure column. Contaminants such as salts, metabolites, nucleases, and soluble macromolecular cellular components are removed by a single washing and drying step.
