Silica bead-based PCR cleanup—NucleoTraPCR purification kit
NucleoTraPCR kits allow you to extract DNA fragments from PCR reactions. Each kit yields exceptionally pure DNA fragments for use in ligations, PCR, cloning, and probe construction. The entire NucleoTrap purification procedure takes only 45 minutes.

NucleoTrap resin is a spherical silica matrix in aqueous suspension. Because of the uniformity of the silica particles, even large DNA fragments (<20 kb) are safe from shearing and degradation.
The NucleoTraPCR purification kit contains a modified matrix that cannot bind fragments smaller than 100 bp. It is ideal for separating PCR products from primers, primer-dimers, and free nucleotides after PCR is completed. Each 10 µl of suspension can extract 6 µg of DNA.
Overview
- Quantitative removal of primer and primer-dimer molecules
- High recovery for DNA fragments >100 bp

DNA cleanup: two applications in one kit
The NucleoSpin Gel and PCR Clean-Up procedure is the easiest way to purify DNA fragments from agarose gels or PCR reactions. The kit includes one buffer for both applications, which contains a pH indicator that displays the correct pH for optimal kit performance. The purification procedure for samples from enzymatic reactions (e.g., PCR) allows fast and easy removal of enzymes, nucleotides, salts, and other impurities.
